I go by Evilham on the internet, I do computer things professionally and for fun do things like pottery, swimming, singing, dancing or learning Euskara (polit polita da!).
Here you’ll find:
Feel free to take a look around!
Call me old-fashioned, but the easiest —and preferred— way to contact me is just to write me at: contact@evilham.com.
If you prefer it or you have to use ciphered communication, visit the PGP section.
I don’t use Ad-based Social Networks, you can read about some of the reasons at komunikilo.org.
However, I do use some tools that connect people with particular interests.
For short messages (politics, technological, …) I use @evilham@chaos.social.
For pictures (mostly my pottery), I use @evilham@pix.unchat.cat.
To comment books (when I remember >,<), I use @evilham@comelibros.club.
I believe that most workflows benefit from paused and nuanced communication and that IM is often not the right tool for most environments.
That being said, Instant Messaging can be a very useful and does have a place, here are some I use semi-regularly.
Matrix is a descentralised communication protocol, even if it is somewhat young, it has a lot of potential and solves issues in previous attempts. You can find me at @evilham.com:unchat.cat.
XMPP too is a descentralised communication protocol, you can find me as contact@evilham.com.
IRC is a widely simple and resilient protocol, you can find me as
evilham
on libera.chat.
